An Oxford Mess

A gluten free version of Eton Mess, served to me at The Vaults in Oxford, whilst listening to Xanthe Gresham telling us the story of the Cashmere Scarf. A heavenly evening.

    • Eton Mess is whipped cream, meringue and raspberries. This one had no meringue and had greek yoghurt stirred through, along with with strawberries, blueberries and mint

  2. A heavenly evening indeed!! Happy WW!

  11. Hi Mahala .. I loved homemade Eton mess .. fresh crunchy meringue, whipped cream, or Cornish cream and strawberries preferably .. love raspberries but prefer them separately with cream! Sounds like the Cashmere Scarf was a good session too … cheers Hilary
