The De-Clutter Challenge
There are lots of challenges out there for 2012 – many, many reading challenges and lots more besides but I made the conscious decision not to take on more challenges that will consume too much of the little time I had. I’ve taken on the Ultimate Blog Challenge and that it that.
Or so I thought. But then I saw a challenge that I could not resist and which my mother would be proud of and I decided on the spot that I would take part: The Declutter Challenge. The premise is simple – 366 days, 366 bits of clutter. During 2012 I must get rid of (sell, donate, giveaway, throw out) a minimum of 366 pieces of clutter and blog about my progress.
I could de-clutter one piece a day, but a) time is limited as it is, and that’s not very time efficient and b) it would bore your socks off. So, I will aim to have a decluttering session at least once a month, possibly once a week, and get rid of at least the number needed to keep up with that time period, and then blog about it. I might even take photos of all the things I remove from my home, so you too can see just how
much crap I’ve thrown out many treasures I have managed to rehome.
Feel free to join me. Or not. If you’d like to join in the “fun”, then you can do so by heading over to The Single Saver who is hosting this genius challenge, grabbing the images you want and adding your name to the list.
