National Crochet Month

Hello again.  It’s March 1st, a new month.  It’s going to be a very busy month, with lots of new challenges ahead of  me, including beginning my breastfeeding peer supporter training (which starts this week!).

March makes it time to kick off my back-to-business schedule in earnest – with a 12 week old daughter, it’s always going to be part time, but I have lots on the go and now it’s time to get it all going.  More on all of this later.

Today though, it’s all about crochet.  National Crochet Month kicks off today and I’ve set myself a little challenge.  I love to crochet but with a busy family I don’t always get to it, so March is going to be my “crochet every day” month.  I hope by the end of the month I will have completed several projects and be a little nearer to developing my own line of crocheted bags!  So I hope I will have finished at least two bags, and have lots more planned; crocheted other bits and pieces for myself and experimented with some new stitches and yarns.

Who’s going to join me in taking part in National Crochet Month?

  1. Wishing you the best. Find the most convenient time of day for you to dedicate 20 minutes or longer and then commit.
Do this for yourself and be sure to smile as you do it.
