Two new books arrived- one on a recommendation and one that I really liked the sound of. I bought a 3rd on Kindle - Foxfire, Wolfskin and other stories of Shapeshifting Women by Sharon Blackie. I've already started that one and it's full of the kind of stories found in Women Who Run With the Wolves.

They haven't turned out bad at all, considering we only had plain flour (I just whacked an unspecified amount of baking powder into the flour) and we didn't beat the eggs and sugar separately. Just chucked all the ingredients in a bowl and whisked by hand.

And the kitchen's tidy too!
