100 Happy Days – Day 65

Today I had a meeting scheduled at a school in Derbyshire where staff were keen to buy some of our books*.

The school is about a 50 minute drive away, through some of the most beautiful countryside you will ever see. There’s something to be said for the Derbyshire countryside, especially out towards Cromford Mill and Matlock. I travel out that way a fair bit, but I got to see somewhere new today – a really lovely, quiet village full of stone cottages and twisty roads. The school belonged on the front of a chocolate box:

It was a drive, and a meeting, that made me happy.
