100 Happy Days – Day 64
Tuesdays always seem busy with a trip to the next town for Plum’s dancing classes. She did both classes without problems today – I was really proud of her and it was lovely to watch her really trying hard and to see how she’s progressed (for instance, last lesson, she couldn’t manage a proper two footed jump. Today, she was jumping away as if her life depended on it, before the class had even started).
Bean stayed at home with Stonelaughter today and got on with his maths and topic work. When I got home, he had his science folder out and was looking through to find an experiment. Today’s happy day photo is of the experiment he wanted to do, called Rainbow Light. He read the information, collected everything he needed and set it all up himself and was excited to see it work. Unfortunately, the photos don’t show the outcome, but never mind! We still need to do the write up on this, but instead of doing a write up in his science book, as we normally do, we are going to try out creating a lap book around several experiments on a theme, so we’ll do the written work on this one later.
