100 Happy Days – Day 11

675990151747962526_2416632Today’s happy day photo comes courtesy of the postman. This morning he brought me a letter with some very good news, but the photo comes from the parcel I went to collect at lunchtime. I had completely forgotten I had ordered this little kit, so it was a lovely surprise to open it.

Have you heard of the Knook? They are crochet hooks with small holes at the opposite end to the hook, which allows you to knit. Apparently. I had a quick look through the instruction booklet whilst feeding PK, helping Bean make a rainbow loom ring and listening to Plum keeping up a narrative on her life(!), and I have to admit that I didn’t really understand what I was looking at. Perhaps when it’s a bit quieter, it might make more sense?

Anyway, I’m looking forward to mastering this and finding out whether it is more convenient to knit with a hook than with needles (which will involve me teaching myself to knit again – I was about seven last time I tried!)

I’d love to hear from anyone who has tried the Knook.
