Moogly CAL square 4
So, you may remember I posted about taking part in the Moogly Afghan CAL this year. So far, four squares have been posted, and I’ve completed them all. A new one is posted every other Thursday. I’ve since decided to make 4 extra blankets though; three for Christmas presents and one as a prize in a team challenge (I lead a large team at Barefoot Books). I need to keep those extra ones under wraps, so won’t be posting them here, but here’s square number 4.
It’s made with 100% cotton yarn in Afghan weight, and I find it quite tricky to crochet with – the strands separate very easily – but it has a nice weight to it when it’s made up, and stays fairly floppy. It’s the third square for my blanket that I’ve done in this yarn, so for the next one, I think I’ll go for something else to give myself a break from this one!
LOOKS lovely 🙂 x
The square looks really pretty and I am sure when sewn together it will make a lovely blanket.
This is so beautiful. I am teaching myself to crochet and I would love to do what you do with a yarn 🙂
