TFI Friday 15 April 2011

It’s Friday again, and so time for my new Friday Feature.

Today’s three things:

  1. I am grateful that my daughter has stopped being sick and that my son, although not 100% better, is much improved on yesterday.  I’m also grateful that no-one else in the family seems to have picked up whatever is ailing him.
  2. I am grateful that I was able to arrange my son’s blood test for next week.  Our local hospital had a month long wait, but the new booking system allowed me to choose from eight hospitals, so I decided to make a 40 mile round trip to get a much earlier test for him.
  3. I am looking forward to spending the next week with both my children, as it’s the first week of the Easter holidays.  I have them both at home today, but we can’t do anything or go anyway until Bean is better, so I’m looking forward to that next week.

What about you?

  1. I’m so glad to hear that your kids are getting better. Mine have also been sick this past week and they passed it on to me so I know what you went through. Just be glad that no one else got it in your family. Hope you have a relaxing weekend!

I hate it when the kids are ill, especially with something that just needs time to work it’s way out – feel so useless!

  2. Hoping things get better every day.
I have shared news of your new blog party on Facebook and will also promote it on my blog when I get back. Busy weekend, not a long fun weekend.

  3. Glad to hear your kids are better, and good that the rest of you didn’t get whatever they had. Hard to be taking care of everyone when you feel lousy yourself!

  4. PS -I will try to join in your party next Friday! Thanks 🙂

  5. How fun. I’m at the boat now so playing this week can’t happen. Can you send a reminder next Thursday? That will get me to do a post.

Thanks for the invite and have a terrific day. 🙂

  6. Contentment is an elusive thing, but it can be had when we are thankful for what we have. I’m grateful that so far my daughter hasn’t had to have surgery for the benign lump on her back.

  7. Great to hear that your kids are getting better. I know that the best thing that we can have are healthy kids. I’m playing along this week.

  8. Book-marked, I love your site! 🙂
